Hi. I’m sorry if this has been asked before but I just wanted to make sure about the July 31st amnesty. I’m American. I entered Thailand on a 60 day tourist Visa. This visa expires May 4th. I did not go to get the 30 day extension. Do I need to go to get this extension or am I already covered until July now?

TLDR : Answer Summary
An American traveler in Thailand on a 60-day tourist visa that expires on May 4 can rely on the July 31 amnesty, which allows for automatic extension without further action.

You will automagically enter amnesty on May 4th, and you can stay in Thailand no later than July 31. There is no further actions you need to take, except to watch groups like this one for further updates.
