What should I do after my visa expired while on amnesty in Thailand, facing issues with the Non-B visa due to Covid?

I arrived in February on a Non-B in order to get a work permit as teacher. Due to Covit I couldn’t process the documents in time and my visa expired in May. Now I stay here on the amnesty and don’t know what to do when it expires on the 26th. If I leave the country to get a new Non-B, I can’t get back in. If I stay here, I don’t have a valid visa.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is in a challenging situation with an expired Non-B visa due to delays caused by Covid. They are currently in Thailand on an amnesty that will end soon and are uncertain whether to leave the country to apply for a new Non-B visa or to seek an extension. Comments from others highlight the need for assistance from their employer for a work permit extension and suggest visiting immigration for more guidance.

Same problem here man.. I'm going to labour and immigration tomorrow with my documents from the school.. I'll let you know what happens and which documents are needed for an extension and work permit💯

IF you go to the labor office for an extension and work permit, please let us know what happens, BUT...

1. Make a new post (so we can find it easily)

2. Include:

a. Your nationality

b. The immigration office you used

c. The visa you entered

d. If you were rejected, the reason why you were rejected

e. If you were approved, a copy of your extension of stay stamp

Not sure what Covid has to do with application of the work permit in Feb.

Your stay is expired and you need or an Extension of Stay based on working with help of your employer or indeed leave the country to get another visa for a visit
