Does anyone know what the process is for changing a Non-O (spouse visa) to a Non-B (business visa sponsored by a company in Thailand)? Do I need to fly out to my home country or other countries to process this or can I do it within Thailand? I am holding a Philippine passport. Thanks!
Edit: my spouse is also a foreigner and it’s his employer sponsoring my non-o.
I intended to buy a TR 60 days to enter Thailand, then change to non o under retirement. I read here that, need to apply it at immigration not less than 15 days before visa expired. Some advise that, not less than 20 days before visa expired, for some immigration office.
But I would like to know, is there any rule that we cannot do the above change of visa more than certain days before the visa expired? (Especially if it was applied in Pattaya immigration)
(I wanna to apply the above at the immigration earlier, said 45 days before TR visa expired. Because I worry that there will be any delay due to different requirements from the immigration that I have to prepare new document to reapply it)
I am marrying my Thai next year and will change my visa from Non immigrant B to O.
Q1: Can this be done in Thailand? Or will I need to leave the country? And what documents will I need to do this please?
Q2: If I want to change jobs, would it be better/easier to still be on my current non immigrant B? Or should I change to a non immigrant O before changing employers?
