Can I Change My Non-B Visa for a New Company in Chiang Mai Without Leaving the Country?

Hi everybody,

I have now non b visa (for a company i work for in Bangkok) and i would like to change it to a new non b ,on a new company in Chiang Mai.

As i remember m i can only change the visa fir the new company (did it before with no problems in Bangkok without go out).

My lawyer said i have 2 go out of the country 2 times:

1. just go to the border to get exit stamp

2. after that , when documents ready can go Laos (or other place) to get the non b visa.

i am not sure, but what are the options? i never heard need to go out to get exit stamp.

Anyone with experience in Chaing Mai immigration?
