VISA O (Spouse)
Yesterday, I went to Chaengwattana to change my current tourist visa (ASEAN) to Visa O (Spouse). I arrived at 8.30am and the process took 1 hour until my name was called. Unfortunatelly, I couldn't further proceed because my marriage book is from Indonesia and hasn't been "recognised" here and my spouse address is not consistent with the photos of us in the house (although both addresses belong to my spouse family).
So here is what the officer gave me. I cannot guarantee if this will not change so I think it's better to stay update.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user attempted to convert a tourist visa to a Visa O (Spouse) in Thailand but faced issues due to the marriage book being from Indonesia and not yet recognized in Thailand. Additionally, there were discrepancies with the address on the marriage documents. A commenter suggested that the user should register the marriage at the local Amphur and obtain the necessary documentation.
