TLDR : Answer Summary
The chances of obtaining a DTV (Destination Thailand Visa) in Vietnam may be low if only two pay slips are available and the funds are deposited shortly before application. Requirements vary by embassy; some may require 3 to 6 months of pay slips or bank statements to demonstrate financial stability. It's recommended to consult the specific Thai embassy's guidelines in Vietnam or participate in DTV community groups for shared experiences.

Join Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) and use the group search tool for the consulate you'll be using. Offhand in and around Asia they typically want to see the money seasoned for 3 months
Helen ********
Check the website for which ever Thai embassy you'll be using in Vietnam. Join the DTV group and search, lots of posts in that group. Every embassy is different, some want minimum 3 months others want 6.

maybe someone here has experience in getting a DTV from Vietnam ? Or am I in the wrong group ??

No one but immigration can tell you if your 2 months will be excepted or not? Each immigration office is different.

But you don’t get the visa from immigration so what are you even talking about?

@Bradford *****
you can't get a DTV from immigration. You have to apply at a Thai consulate outside of Thailand. Nothing to do with immigration

You apply at a consulate, who manages the VISA stamp John?

@Bradford *****
the visa is issued by the consulate under the auspices of the MFA. Immigration control the borders

Why in the world would you think someone on Facebook could factually answer your question? Name One person in this group that can factually tell you the correct answer to what are your chances? Instead of being a bully, why don't you go to the factual source and look it up or perhaps, even better, call and ask exactly what they will accept. There isn't one person here that can give you a factually answer. Helen Rimmer already gave you the answer to check the website for the Thai embassy you will be dealing with.
