Approved today - London Embassy - Workcation.
Applied 28th August.
Request for additional documents Tuesday 9th September.
- Stamped bank statement (I bank with Monzo and was aware they take a little while to post these to you so I actually ordered this a week before my application - glad I did)
- 3 months payslips/client billed invoices.*
- 3 months bank statement (again) but this time highlighting my income.
- PAYE income tax history*
- Formal letter to acknowledge I would be working remotely only.
- Formal letter to confirm I wouldn't leave the UK during the application.
- Copy of employment contract.
*A lot of the documents they requested I couldn't provide as I am a 50% partner of a business. So rather than providing payslips I provided a signed letter from my accountant on their company letterhead explaining my position with the company and confirming my earnings for the last 3 months.
Likewise with proving my PAYE history - I provided my recent tax return instead.
Every document I provided I attached a cover letter explaining exactly what I had sent. Each cover letter was short & concise.
My application had the potential to be less than straightforward (I don't own a LTD company and I'm also not an 'employee') so i was prepared for the extra admin.
Today 11th September - request for additional documents
- Flight e-tickets
I had already sent these so I just sent them again.
1 hour later - DTV approved 👍🏼
