What can you expect during a DTV visa interview in Vientiane, and what reasons could lead to a refusal?
Hi everyone, I have a question for those who have already attended a DTV visa interview. (especially in Vientiane)
Has anyone here been invited for an interview and then had their DTV visa application refused?
If so, would you mind sharing the reason for the refusal (if you know it) and your experience?
Also, were there any particular points that the interview focused on or any difficulties, issues, or points of friction during the interview, even if your visa was ultimately approved?
I'm just trying to better understand what can happen during the process. Thank you very much for sharing!

Questions asked in the interview based on Muay Thai: Why do you want a DTV? Where will you live? How will you support yourself? "Open your banking App to let me see your balance and past transactions". Show me your receipt you have paid up for your Muay Thai lessons. Results will be sent to your email. Approval came 3 or 4 hours later.

Bring all your original documentation and your phone / laptop as they will want to open up your banking and check your balance. The interview will focus on your entry scheme and your long-term 5 year plans in Thailand. No reasons are given for rejections.
