TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, holding multiple passports (Portuguese, South African, Mozambican, and Italian), is seeking information on neighboring countries available for a visa run amidst COVID-19 restrictions. Responses from the community indicate that while flights are generally possible, travelers may face quarantine requirements and entry restrictions. Countries like Vietnam have closed their borders, while Cambodia and Laos have also implemented restrictions.
i understand it is a lot of work to check with which passport you might be allowed to enter a country or not, but therefor you have travel agencies or google Members on this page can help you with Thai Visa advice. Good luck
at this time ONLY cambodia has closed its borders to people from 5 countries AND people who have been to those 5 countries in the last 14 days (France, Germany, Spain, Italy and USA)
Lao has closed 10 border crossings in the north of the country with Vietnam, thai borders with Lao are at this time open like normal
« As a result of Covid-19 outbreak, The Vietnam Government will deny to issue visa on arrival or E-visa for ALL NATIONALITIES (even if they already had the approval letter or E-visa letter).
For those who already got a valid Vietnam visa sticker on passport, they can enter Vietnam as normal but still must be carried out health declaration upon arrival based on the current regulations of Vietnam Government. »
You can fly or do a land border anywhere...however, you might be subject to quarantine once you enter any of those countries which is 14 days basically worldwide...so look into that as well for the country you want to do your border bounce/visa run in
