I’m waiting for my DTV visa to be processed in Vietnam.
Can I travel back to Thailand during this time and then return to Vietnam later for the interview?
I’ve already entered Thailand twice with a Visa on Arrival — will that be a problem?
Thanks for any help!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The consensus from the comments is that it's advisable to stay in Vietnam while your DTV visa application is being processed. Traveling back to Thailand during this time could result in complications, especially since you have already entered Thailand twice with a Visa on Arrival. This could raise issues with Thai Immigration upon your return to Thailand and may lead to potential denial of entry.
Everything is done online I highly doubt they ask for an interview. But they deny for the smallest reason just to take the application fee banking on the fact they believe you will pay the application fee again. I wouldn’t risk it. They look for any reason just to take the $340 from you
Stay in Vietnam. Even if you don't get called in for an interview they may ask you to send photos/copies of all of your passport pages. You will be screwed when they see a Thailand stamp during your application time.
You should remain in Vietnam until getting the final approval. You still can get caught and be denied if they discover you have entered Thailand during the process. Remember you get a stamp in your passeport for that (entering with a tourist exemption).
