normally Immigration makes a phone call before they come and announce day and time. If you agree but going into hiding i guess the application could be not approved, but i do not have any experience in it. I stayed at home as asked

they gave us a date at the immigration office, on the day they phone up and we meet them at the market as I am sure they were asking people if I lived in the area. That was over three years ago.
