Rules of online appointment queue reservation

1. If you do not show up on time, lack of required documents, spend lots of time to edit required documents or choose wrong type of service, Immigration division 1 reserves the right to cancel the queue. However you can still use the normal queue service.

2. Please show up before appointed time at least 15 minutes and have all forms/documents ready.

3. It’s an online appointment queue reservation for foreigners who will come to be served at Immigration division 1 only. Immigration division 1 is responsible for providing services for foreigners who reside in Bangkok only.

4. For visa extensions, foreigners can submit visa extension application form in advance within 45 days before visa expiry date. Those who overstay will not be able to use this online appointment queue reservation.

5. 90 days notification (TM 47) can be made by foreigners or assigned persons to notify current address and can notify in advance within 15 days before due date or within 7 days after due date.

6. Immigration division 1 reserve the right to serve the service for one passport per one queue which not includes family members.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The online appointment queue reservation at Immigration Division 1 in Bangkok requires users to arrive 15 minutes early with all necessary documents. Reservations can be canceled if individuals are late, lack required documents, or choose the wrong service type. Foreigners can submit visa extension applications up to 45 days before expiration, and late notifications involving address changes can be made within specific time frames. Each queue permits service for one passport only, excluding family members.

NEWS FLASH: anyone in Bangkok who entered thailand on a tourist visa entry <- that means you BOUGHT a tourist visa from a thai consulate before you came here and were stamped in for 60 days. Please be aware that the online appointment booking system for getting a 30 day embassy letter extension is TOTALLY BOOKED all next week. There are NO openings at all :O

I checked ever day next week using the "Extension by Tourist Visa (TR) Issue by Thai Embassy or Consulate (TR60 - online1)" and there are NO openings available for any days next week :(

is it true tomorrow there is an announcement by immigration? I understand they made one in July, but I heard they are making one....or will there be zero announcement up to the 26th?
Darren *******
@Matty *******
I haven't seen any rumours to suggest there is going to be any announcement but you never know
Ezio ********
So if we have a letter we are screwed now ? Cannot go there ?

Is there another place for immigration ?

@Guilhem *****
and did you enter the country on a tourist visa that you bought from a consulate before you came here and were you stamped in for 60 days when you showed up?
Ezio ********
@Tod ********
I am on amnesty with a simple tourist visa, I didn't buy anything
Tod *********
@Guilhem *****
then you don't have a tourist visa at all :(

IF you showed up here without having bought a tourist visa from a thai consulate and were stamped in for FREE for 30 days you didn't come in on ANY visa, you came in on what's known as a 30 day visa exempt entry and this doesn't affect you at all :/

When you go to make your appointment you select the choice "Applying for short term Visa At Muangthong Thani (K - Counter K)" and those appointment slots are either 8:30-12:00 OR 13:00-16:30 ;)

@Tod ********
So there is just a "general queue" for exempt, while TR60 gets a specific time slot. Do I understand you correctly?
Tod *********
@MarGuyvin **
the 30 day visa exempt people who want the 30 day embassy letter extension get 4 hour windows for the appointments either 8:30-12:00 or 13-16:30
Ezio ********
@Tod ********
Huuuum but I need a letter from my embassy to stay, because I extended 1 time before. I am not sure this is correct
Tod *********
@Guilhem *****
you need the embassy letter OR you won't get the 30 day extension AND you need to make an appointment to go get the extension.
Ezio ********
@Tod ********
But I cannot make any appoitment because you said everything is already full
Tod *********
@Guilhem *****
, okay, lets go over this one more time :P

You did NOT enter thailand on a tourist visa that you bought from a thai consulate before you came here.

You entered on a 30 day visa exempt entry

AND

there are plenty of appointments for people who entered on a 30 day visa exempt entry stamp to go and get the 30 day extension with the embassy letter.

SO

get your embassy letter, make an appointment for the choice I showed you in that image I posted and go get your 30 day embassy request extension :)
