Can I apply for a DTV visa inside Thailand or do I need to apply outside?
Heading to Thailand for a while, are you able to apply for DTV inside of Thailand or does one need to be outside.
Does Thai cooking classes also get covered under this visa and where would one take classes in the Hua hin area?
Thanks in advance

Answer summary
To apply for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) in Thailand, you must do so from outside the country at a Thai embassy; applications cannot be submitted from within Thailand. Additionally, Thai cooking classes can be included under the DTV as a form of educational activity, but it's suggested to confirm local availability for classes in the Hua Hin area.

DTV are issued by Thai Embassies. Thai cooking is a soft power option. You cannot apply within Thailand.

Don't forget, there will be a test at immigration after 180 days to see if you actually learned something. Be prepared. 😎
