Hello, I have a question about my French boyfriend's visa. I will move back to my home, and he will apply for a visa to join me.

1. What type of visa should my boyfriend apply for in order to visit Thailand? We are also considering getting married while he is in Thailand, so we want to make sure that the visa will accommodate that possibility.

2. If we decide not to get married, would it be possible for us to open a business together?

My wife has a buisness in Thailand , we are married in Us , plan on marrying in Thailand . I want to come over and work at the business’s and we are opening a small restaurant. So confusing .

If I understand I need a non B visa and then a work permit 2nd? Is there anyone or company on the Chumphon Ranong area that can help me do this without worrying if it’s correct ? We are moving there as well . Any help or direction would be appreciated with Chonlada Hovater🙏thank you

Hi, I am Italian citizen (I was born in Thailand and i started the process to get my local ID card as i never got one, going slow the burocracy), coming to Thailand with my girlfriend (not married yet but planning to) and our daugther, both Spanish citizen. We are coming first with a tourist visa of 60days and will make extension of other 30days. We want to settle down there, planning to run a business as small resort or a café/restaurant. What would you suggest as the best way at the beginning till i will obtain my national ID to stay and work legally in Thailand? Should we open a company? As Thai names I can have my mother and other friends as well that I can surely trust.

Looking to open a clothing business/store in Bangkok for larger sizes. Looking for recommendations on the best route for business requirements, costs,etc. I do see that you have to employ Thai which is no problem. Okay folks. Doing a bunch of mental maths. Been in the prep stage for business for lady for a while. I'd like a sense of how much I am looking at spending if I want to do it as my business. Looking at the non business specific added costs as I assume these are the same for a shop or restaurant or whatever.

Hi everyone, I’ve just joined the group. I plan on moving to Thailand later this year, perhaps in November if my plans work out. I plan on staying in Thailand.

I’ve read up online, and gone through numerous posts on here, but I’m still not much clearer on what I need to, or should, do.

I’m a commercial energy broker in the UK, and ideally would like to open a limited Thai company, and want to enter the deregulated Thai market doing the same thing. I think I would then get the appropriate visas through doing that? But what ARE the appropriate visas? I need a permit to stay in Thailand, and a working visa. Ideally relevant permits/visas to be long term.

Any advice would be very gratefully accepted.
