TLDR : Answer Summary
To start the process of creating a Thai-based limited company with your Thai family as majority shareholders, you can initially enter Thailand on a Tourist visa to assist with setting up the company. Once the company is established, your Thai family members can apply for a Work Permit from the Ministry of Labor. Afterward, you can visit a Thai Embassy or Consulate to apply for a Non Immigrant B visa. If you are married to a Thai national, you might also consider applying for a Non Immigrant O visa based on your marriage.

Okay, you can visit Thailand on a Tourist visa and help to set up the company, as soon the company is established, the Thai owners apply for the Work Permit at the Ministry of Labor. With documents of successful application you visit a Thai Embassy or Consulate and apply for the Non Immigrant B visa.

If you speak about your Thai Family I guess you're married to a Thai National, than the Non Immigrant O visa based on being married would be the best.
