Will I be charged for overstaying if my flight is on the day after my tourist visa expires?

If the flight is cancelled,

...go to Thai immigration...

Show them the cancelled flight ticket and seek extension of stay. At the least they will grant you 7 days...

Or if the Thai government extends the amnesty into May, you need to do nothing.
