TLDR : Answer Summary
A one-day overstay on a Thai tourist visa typically is not a serious issue. If it is under 24 hours, travelers will generally not incur a fine. Instead, they will receive a small stamp noting the overstay alongside their departure stamp, indicating that the fine is waived. This overstay does not affect future visa applications or subsequent entries into Thailand.

Okay people we are talking about a ONE DAY overstay
and
as was pointed out if your overstay is under 24 hours and you're flying out, you don't get fined for it, get a small thai language stamp only next to your departure stamp that says "overstay under 24 hours fine waived"
It does not count against you in the least, getting a visa from a consulate or coming back to thailand.
you'll be fine, (y) we are done. safe travels ๐

Did you count the day you arrived into Thailand as DAY #1 ?
If you did, then one day OVERSTAY not a serious problem. You will process thru Thai Immigration on departure as usual, but will be taken to another Thai Immigration Officers desk... STAMPED out of Thailand as one day OVERSTAY with the 500 Thai baht fine WAIVED.
