Hey all,

I hope you’re well. Quick question. My visa ends on the 1st of March. I was supposed to fly out on the same day, but the flight just got cancelled. I have the option to rebook a day later

Does anyone know if it poses any other risk besides the 500 Baht fine, for overstaying one day?

Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the implications of overstaying a visa by one day after a flight cancellation. Responses indicate that for overstays of less than 24 hours, the fine is typically waived, and the individual may receive a stamp indicating the overstay was minimal, which should not affect future travel or immigration status.

I had Overstay more than 24 hours and I didn't paid a fine. Should be good to 99%

Any overstay isn't great, but overstays less than 24 hours they wave the fine and give you a stamp "overstay less than 24 hours." Won't affect anything in the future
