TLDR : Answer Summary
A tourist visa for Thailand begins from the date it is issued, not from the date of application. Once issued, it is valid for 90 days, during which you must enter Thailand to activate the visa. Upon entry, you will typically receive a 60-day stay granted at customs.

Good...thank you so much

The visa starts the day it's issued and is valid for 90 days. This means you have 90 days to enter Thailand to activate your visa. Even if you enter Thailand on the last day written on the visa (day 90), you'll be stamped into Thailand for the 60 days that a tourist visa gets on entry.
