I haven't even received the email saying they received the application. I'm going to give it a week and if I don't hear back, cancel everything that I can

As hearing from the Los Angeles Consulate my wife entered her information again using Gmail instead of SBCglobal.net and she got her confirmation almost instantly. Now we still wait for QR code but are breathing slightly easier.
I just received an emailed that they have received the application and will respond within 7 days…..more drama!

After several hours of frustration trying to get through, I could hardly believe my eyes when I got to the last screen, clicked "submit" and the "confirmation screen" came up.
