next week I am gonna apply in Jakarta. I am in the process to prepare the documents.
As I am since several months on Tourist Visa in Thailand(with border runs) and have a long term address here, should I mention that address in documents, like in working agreement, letter etc., or should I use my address in Europe?Could be conflicting somehow, as officially I am just a tourist, and should not have an address on documents from Thailand, so better european address?
In the working agreement I will quote: The Employee will perform their duties remotely from their location in Thailand. Should I rephrase and mention "from abroad" or "from Asia"?
Thank you for feedback ππ½

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is applying for a visa in Jakarta after being in Thailand on a tourist visa and is unsure whether to use their Thai address or their European address in the application documents. Community feedback suggests that it's better not to mention the Thai address unless specifically required, and to simply indicate that the work will be performed remotely from Thailand.
Dont mention your Thai address unless they ask where in Thailand you are staying such as a rental contract in Thailand. Stating remote work in Thailand should be simple enough. In the application the embassy will likely ask your current location and or proof of this, so you show the visa/entry stamp of the country you are applying from and maybe your hotel booking.
Ok and which address in documents, like a remote working agreement or the introduction letter, should I use then or would you not use addresses in general on these documents?
Anonymous participant Use the address of where the business is located overseas, like any standard letterhead from a business that has the business name address and contact info as a header. Try not to overthink this.
