UK Passport Holder, looking to stay for a max. 3 months. Do I understand correct that if I apply for a Tourist Visa (on thaievisa.go.th) then this is valid for 60 days with a 30 day extension possible?
Alternatively, if we stay less than 60 days, we could enter under visa exemption for 30 days with a 30 day extension possible. Then the only requirement is COE?
Is that right? Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
A UK passport holder can stay in Thailand for a maximum of 3 months using two main options: one is to apply for a Tourist Visa, which is valid for 60 days with an additional 30-day extension available. Alternatively, if the stay is less than 60 days, entering under the visa exemption is permissible for up to 30 days, also allowing for a 30-day extension. To enter Thailand under these regulations, a Certificate of Entry (COE) and proof of insurance, along with accommodation arrangements, are required.
do you have to book a flight for leaving Thailand? If yes let's say if I haven't clear about my destination yet ( could be one ?of the others Asian country or Australia or another country ) how can i book a flight?
it seems that some people have managed to get a visa and enter Thailand without a return or onward ticket. However many more are either not issued with a certificate of entry, or their airline refuses to let them board.
