Hi all,

Looking for visa advice regarding a future trip.

I have visited Thailand a couple of times for 2 week stays, but have just booked flights for myself and girlfriend for a 72 day trip at the start of next year.

Just wondering which type of visa is suitable and best way to arrange it.

Another thing to consider is that we may also want to travel to Cambodia for a couple of weeks during that time...

**We are coming from England and holding UK passports.

If I failed to add other relevant information please let me know...**

Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated! πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

TLDR : Answer Summary
For a 72-day trip to Thailand, UK passport holders can enter Thailand using a 60-day visa exemption upon arrival. It's also possible to extend this stay by an additional 30 days. If planning to travel to Cambodia during this time, travelers can exit Thailand and re-enter to obtain another 60-day visa exemption. It is advisable to have an onward travel ticket to meet airline requirements before boarding.

If you're from the UK, you're eligible for visa exempt. That's a free 60 day entry stamp. You can also apply one time for a 30 day extension.

The only issue you might run into is that your airline may require you to show proof of a ticket leaving Thailand within 60 days before they'll let you board your flight. You can Google "onward travel ticket" for some options to show to your airline at check-in if you want to be sure

You can just come and get a 60 days visa exemption upon arrival. Stay for up to 60 days, do a trip to Cambodia and re-enter on another 60 days visa exemption.

There’s also one 30 days extension available for each 60 days visa exemption.
