TLDR : Answer Summary
A UK passport holder traveling to Thailand for 83 days has several options. One option is to apply for a Single-Entry Tourist Visa online, which allows for a 60-day stay with a possibility to extend for an additional 30 days, totaling 90 days. Alternatively, entering Thailand under the visa exemption rule allows a 45-day stay, extendable by 30 days, totaling 75 days. If choosing the exemption route, a quick exit and re-entry can gain additional days if needed. For more information or assistance, the Thai embassy can be contacted or helpful YouTube videos about the eVisa process can be consulted.

There are a bunch of videos on YouTube explaining the Thai evisa process. Watch a few, they're helpful. Make sure to watch more than one to make sure each part the person is explaining is correct.

If you aren't sure about something, you can always email the embassy staff via the evisa website. They should answer within a few days.

You're a UK resident, so you can enter on a visa exemption, which since Oct. 1, will give you 45 days, with the possibility to extend for another 30 days inside the country. That will give you 75 days. You can leave the country and re-enter to get a new stamp. If you need 83 days, getting the Single-Entry Tourist visa would be better, since that would give you 60 days, and possibility to extend for another 30 days inside the country, for 1,900เธฟ.

According to the Thai eVisa website, as a UK you can apply online.

Yes that's the section I choose and I've gone back in numerous times and it's still the same . I'm not sure what the declaration is and I need a thai guarantor and there I'd? I've sent it off without the guarantor and expect to be refused..๐Ÿค”

your intial hotel bookings would substitute a Thai Guarantor for a Tourist visa - could be a separate section though. Some people travel and stay at their thai girlfriend's condo instead of hotels so this is why this option for accommodation is there.

You need to compile pictures of all your passport pages with stamps/visas into a single PDF file and upload that. Make sure the images aren't too big, but still readable, since there is a maximum file size. Yes, the whole thing is not easy, but that's what it is at the moment.
