What are the rules for my multiple entry Non-O marriage visa in Thailand regarding entry duration and extension applications?

I'm from Australia and have the multiple entry non-o marriage visa (Thai wife). Currently on the first 90 days (entered 3rd December). We normally spend 3-6 months per year in Thailand and balance of year in Australia.

-does this give me 90 days per entry or 90 days total across all entries?

-Is it the last 30 days or last 45 of entry stamp that I can apply to convert to annual extension?

-I'll travel overseas returning on 9th March, then leaving again on 4th May. I was planning to convert to annual extension & multi entry before leaving, will that be possible? I'd made flight bookings thinking the original visa was 90 days in total rather than per entry. If not possible I won't be back in Thailand again until after my current non-o expires on 30 October 2023.

If relevant:

-We live in Phitsanulok in her family home when in Thailand

-I've now got the B400,000 in an account, but it won't be 2 months seasoned before my current entry stamp expires due to bank paperwork delays to open account

-We were married in Australia, I've got the Kor Ror 22 issued by local Amphur now

TLDR : Answer Summary
The multiple entry Non-O marriage visa allows you unlimited entries with 90 days per entry within its validity year. You can apply for a 60-day family visit extension, which may help you obtain the required 2-month seasoning for your bank account balance to qualify for the annual extension. Remember, you'll receive a 30-day under consideration stamp during the application, with immigration often conducting home visits during this time. Timing your travel is essential to ensure you remain in Thailand long enough to utilize your entry stamp and complete the extension process.

Any way you do it you're gonna have to coordinate that you're here LONG ENOUGH to run the time down on the 90 day entry stamp AND stay thru the 30 day under consideration stamp you get when you apply for the year extension.

There's no way around that.

You're gonna hafta figure out your travel timing on your own to pull that off

thank you for the detailed response. Due to our travel dates it won't work on my current entry stamp, and after returning I won't have 45 to run down visa plus 30 under consideration (75 days in Thailand plus spare days).

From what I've read of other people's experiences of the 1 year marriage extension maybe I should be glad I don't have to do it this year ๐Ÿ™‚.

A year long multi Non-O visa gives you unlimited entries of 90 days each during the validity of the visa itself (a year from the date of issue)

You can get one 60 day visit thai family extension (either per entry OR at some offices it's only per VISA <- so one time a year)

Remember when you apply for the year extension based on marriage to a thai you get a 30 day under consideration stamp <- immigrations usually comes to do a home visit during that time and you then return to the office on that date to get the year extension inked in. THEN you buy a re-entry permit

You might be able to buy the time you need to get the funds seasoned the 2 months and then apply for the year extension this first 90 day visit by taking that 60 day visit family extension. That'd give you 2 more months
