How can I convert my Non O Multi-entry visa to a one-year stay with 90-day reporting in Thailand?

Hello Visa Team, I recently acquired a Non O Multi entry ( on the basis of marriage) valid for one year ( exp 04 August 2021). I have just returned to Thailand on said visa and have just completed ASQ. The entry stamp states this is valid until November 27 2020 - What do I need to do to convert this to a one year stay with 90 day reporting? (I am based in Mae Sai, Chiang Rai) any advice is much appreciated.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To convert your Non O Multi-entry visa into a one-year stay with 90-day reporting, you need to fulfill certain requirements. You must deposit 400,000 baht in a Thai bank account in your name for at least two months prior to applying for an extension based on marriage. Additionally, visit your local immigration office with your Thai spouse to gather the necessary documents, such as photos and copies. Note that the current situation may limit your ability to exit and re-enter the country every 90 days, so consider applying for a yearly extension or a 60-day family visit extension, which doesn't require proof of funds.

Unfortunately a year long, multi-entry Non-O visa isn't all that helpful to you at this point because that visa requires you to exit/re-enter the country every 90 days to get a new 90 day stamp (and in the old days before this covid shit show that wasn't a problem).

Now your choices are the year extension by meeting the financial requirements OR a 60 day visit thai family extension (that doesn't require proof of funds).

You put 400K baht in a thai bank account in your name only for 2 months before you apply for a yearly extension based on marriage.

Go to your immigration office with your thai wife and get the hand out that lists the required documents, photos, copies etc so you can be prepared.
