TLDR : Answer Summary
With a Multiple Entry Non-O Spouse Visa, you can stay in Thailand for about 17 months if managed correctly. After entering the country, you can stay for up to 90 days at a time. To extend your stay, you must exit and re-enter the country every 90 days until the visa's validity (one year) ends. Additionally, you can extend your last entry by 60 days by applying under the 'visit family' clause for a fee.

IF you got the visa from a thai consulate in another country, you can stay 90 days at a time before you have to exit/re-enter the country to get another 90 days. You do that for the validity of the visa (one year from the date it's issued). That gives you about 15 months in-country and then you extend your last entry by 60 days under the visit family clause at the immigration office for 1900baht and that takes you to 17 months

how much you need in bank account for retirement visa and how does that visa work?
for a year extension based on marriage you need 400K baht in a thai bank account in your name only for 2 months before you apply for the extension of stay OR a letter from your consulate stating you get 40K baht a month in income from abroad
