Non O Multiple Entry based on marriage with a Thai

After all my stamps out and in had my 15 month completed

And went to my local Immigration Office in Sisaket for a 60 day extension visiting family. The only needs was copies from my wife's ID card the tabien ban and our marriage certificate . It took them 15 minutes and all done. Fee 1900 Baht. That means you can be on this kind of Visa here for nearly 17 month without any proof of money. The visa was made in Savanakhet.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the Non-O Multiple Entry Visa based on marriage with a Thai national, specifically detailing the process of obtaining a 60-day extension for visiting family. The author successfully completed this extension at their local immigration office in Sisaket, providing copies of their wife's ID card, the tabien ban, and their marriage certificate. The extension costs 1900 Baht and can allow individuals to remain in Thailand for nearly 17 months without needing to prove financial support. The comments elaborate on the variability between immigration offices regarding the number of extensions allowed per visa and confirm that a yearly extension can be applied for based on any entry, although proof of funds may be necessary.

Thanx all (y)

...but I think on a 12 month extension you will need proof of funds in bank account. Am I right?

Right, you need to meet the specific requirements for what ever extension you're applying for.

My answer was mostly about the fact that you can switch over to a yearly extension on ANY entry of the Non-O visa IF you meet the requirements.

But that is the way to maximize your time on the visa (y)

Well done

@Dar***
, yep, you can apply for a yearly extension of stay off ANY entry on that visa OR off the 60 day extension on it.

Tod Daniels can you still apply for an extension to stay based on marriage off the back of this 60 day family visit during the 60 days?

Nicely done

yep, it's just that SOME offices will let you get that 60 day visit family extension on EVERY entry and some will let you do it only ONCE per VISA

Yes, if good timed it is nearly 17 months with this extension. Be aware that some Immigration Offices only allow 1 time this 60 day family visit extension on 1 visa. So wait till you're on your last entry.
