What are the financial requirements for obtaining a Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (METV) for Dutch citizens applying in the Netherlands?
METV - Dutch Citizin
still in doubt... going for the easy SETV or more difficult METV.
Most embassies around (BE/GER/UK/US) are asking for at least 5,5k at your bank account for the last 6 months.
NL/The Hague is saying this about the METV:
At least 200,000 THB or 5,500 EUR for the multiple entry Tourist visa (nowhere mentioning the 6 months).
Is the Dutch website missing a part or do we have a different rule here? Hopefully some Dutchies around who applied for a METV lately.

OP**UPDATE METV - Netherlands**
My METV was approved and only had to show 5500 euro on my bank. No questions or anything about a 6 months period. I also booked a return ticket BKK- VN in the first 60 days. No travel plan or declaration form or any question asked.

Why are you looking at different Embassies? Most will only issue you a METV if you are a resident there.

Embassies can vary the rules as they see fit so you have to abide with their requirementsActivity
