Reading the Thai Embassy requirements in Vientiane for a SETV as I booked an appointment, it states that proof of permanent address (mandatory for METV) and proof of adequate finances, 20K per month single and 40K per month for a family is required.

These seem to be new requirements since the appointment system was introduced and so I just wondered if they are actually requested on the application and if a Thai account is sufficient for funds. I will no doubt bring everything to cover all bases but just wondered what the experience of recent applicants was. (I am applying for a SETV).
