Hi Guys 👋. Hope everyone is wonderful! I’m about to start the process of applying for an MEV, from U.K. - however, I’m concerned about the financial evidence bit! My question is do you have to have had £5k in bank for last 6 months?
I’m confused by what it says on London Thai Embassy website! I have the funds but, I haven’t had no where near that in my bank the last 6 months - at all.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! ☺️

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is concerned about the financial evidence required for applying for a Multiple Entry Visa (MEV) to Thailand from the UK, specifically whether they need to show a balance of £5,000 in their bank account over the past six months. Comments indicate that the Thai Embassy likely requires this amount to be in the account consistently for that duration, and it is suggested to contact the embassy for clarification, preferably via social media due to challenges with email and phone communication.
It looks like they want to see that amount in an account for each of the previous 6 months. You can try asking them, but I'd try messaging them on Facebook as email and phone is very difficult to get a response.
