Hey guys!

Looking for some Quick advice. Me and My girlfriend Will be going to Kuala Lumpur to get a Visa for Thailand and was wondering what the possibilities are to get a METV?

I read somewhere that if you travel as a couple the financial requirements can be met as a couple. For example my GF doesnt have the required £5000 but if I would have an account where I can show proof of funds for £10000. Is this sufficient for us both to meet the financial requirements?

Also FYI we have already got a SETV which we are using right now and Will be leaving Thailand to get (hopefully) a METV. Will our previous stay with the SETV complicate things further do you think?

Thanks for your help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks advice on obtaining a Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (METV) for Thailand while currently holding a Single Entry Tourist Visa (SETV). They inquire if they can collectively meet the financial requirements as a couple, specifically questioning if having £10,000 in one partner's account suffices given the other partner's lack of funds. They also wonder if their previous stay in Thailand on a SETV will complicate their METV application.
