A bit early. But I am eager to know the details / exact requirements of applying for the DTV in person in the neighboring countries, too. I guess people are hesitant to be the first / guinea pig. I would not want to waste a trip without knowing if it is possible at all and what proof to bring, either.
Nice. Keep us posted. Questions remain: Will they accept non-residents / tourists applying for the DTV? What kind of proof will they accept for either category.
I contacted the Thai Embassy in Vientiane, Laos. They informed me non-residents can apply. Book an appointment online, bring required docs, pay 10k THB cash only . 2 days to get the approval except for day of submission. Contracts/ business docs etc must have a company stamp.
