DTV Visa approved via hanoi.

I applied based on soft power. Made a dentist appointment at Bangkok Hospital. Booked an appointment at Hanoi consulate، submit my application on Thursday and got my visa today. Here in hanoi take 3 working days not include the day you submit your application.

Good luck to you all.

could you share the full list of documents you submitted, I can`t find this on their site.. I plan to apply there in early october for a Muay Thai course, I have the letter from the school, just need the rest of documents in order to make sure I don`t miss anything e.g. minor things like Thai accommodation, plane to Thailand, hotel booking in Vietnam etc.

sure. You need application form ،which i download it online، need a photo to attach to the application form. A copy of your passport. Your accommodation booking in hanoi if you are coming to hanoi. Your address in Thailand. Most importantly the last six months of your bank statement with the minimum of 500k ،i did get the prof of balance as well. They didn't ask for ticket to or out of Thailand i left it blank. On the section of the flight number i check the flight to Chiangmai and wrote the flight number. I did sign all the pages. When i submit my application i did ask how long it takes as i need to book my ticket back to Thailand، and she said i suggest don't book your ticket until your visa is ready، so i just book my ticket today after i picked up my visa.

Good luck .

Did they ask for 6 months bank statement and was that prepared by printing documents and notarizing it?

thank you. It was very straight forward، the only issue was my bank statement. Because it was my saving account and the bank only generate the statement every 6 months، and the last statement i had was for July and she asked me to get the August and September statement، which i explain to her i can't do that and my statement i print was two weeks old، she asked to print a new one and i was about to go out and find a shop to get new prints، but she was nice enough and told me to email it to her and she did print it there. And she was happy and accepted.
