Hi, can someone please advise how soon before planned travel I can go to immi office to apply for a re-entry permit ? I’m aware I have the option of applying at the airport, but prefer to get it sorted earlier. One less thing to stress about on the day of travel.

You can obtain the RE-ENTRY permit at any time... the expiration date of the Re-entry permit will be the same date as the expiration date of your permission to stay in Thailand.

IF you do not know what date you are leaving Thailand. NO problem... just enter ANY DATE in the future on the re-entry permit application form.
