I might need to pop over to another country for a meeting and I was wondering if it's possible to apply for re-entry at the airport on my visa so I don't lose it.
I know it's possible for visas like retirement, but not quite sure about tourist visa.
Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can apply for a re-entry permit while on a tourist visa in Thailand. It costs 1,000 baht for a single entry and can be obtained at local Thai Immigration offices or major airports. Be sure to purchase the permit before exiting the country.
You can get at major airport. If you need all documents with you including filled application form (TM 8), you don't have to pay additional 200, otherwise they charge you 200 thb without receipt.
