TLDR : Answer Summary
The user wants to know if they can obtain a re-entry permit at Thai immigration ahead of their scheduled flight on October 7th, as they prefer to avoid doing it at the airport. Responses indicate that re-entry permits can be acquired anytime during immigration office hours. Some respondents suggest that doing it at the airport could be more convenient and faster. It was clarified that applying for the re-entry permit can be done in advance of the flight, ensuring everything is ready before departure.
If you live in Bangkok I would honestly do it at the airport. It's much much easier to check in 30 mins early and do it at the airport than trail out to CW, with the sheer misery that entails...
Yes, you can do it anytime, but on the airport (at least Suvarnabhumi) it's really smooth, just 10 minutes waiting. Have one photo with you and cash to pay.
