How does Immigration count the dates for a tourist VOA? If for example, you arrive today 6 June, does the count start tomorrow? Day 1 is 7 June and the last day is 6 July? We need to plan the last day we need to leave. TIA.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The duration of a Tourist Visa on Arrival (VOA) in Thailand is counted as follows: the day you arrive counts as Day 1, regardless of the time. This means if you arrive on June 6, that day is counted as your first day, and your last day in the country will be July 6. Hence, you need to plan to leave by the end of July 6.

it's amazing how these people love tourism. Just think if every tourist had one more day available to stay. Why, that could add up over time...naahhh...get them out.

Both the day of arrival and the day of departure are part of the 30 days (if you are talking visa-exempt).

Day you arrive is 1 day. 12:01am or 11:59pm, counts as 1 day.
