My bro is arriving 13 Jun. he's trying to do this e-visa on the website but it doesn't give him the right amount of days, it says 61 days if he chooses the 12 august for departure but last time I checked its 60 days if I still remember how to count right.

is it possible to get the 60 days on arrival like before at the airport and get the right amount of days maybe?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the days granted on an e-visa for their brother arriving in Thailand. Confusion arises regarding a 61-day stay versus the expected 60 days for a tourist visa. Comments clarify that the arrival date is counted as day one, suggesting that 60 days may apply if a correct tourist visa is obtained. The user also questions the availability of the 60-day visa on arrival, which may not be accurate as it typically entitles travelers to a 30-day visa exemption that can be extended.

A visa is not a stay permit in Thailand.

The permission to stay stamp he will get on arrival will be for 60 days, if he arrives with a tourist visa.

If he's entering his arrival and departure date and you think it's 60 but it's saying 61, the day you arrive counts as day 1.

That's the first day you're in Thailand.

You could never get 60 days at the airport .

Maybe its 30 day visa exempt and then 30 day extension .
