How can my brother get the correct number of days for his e-visa to Thailand?

The user is inquiring about the days granted on an e-visa for their brother arriving in Thailand. Confusion arises regarding a 61-day stay versus the expected 60 days for a tourist visa. Comments clarify that the arrival date is counted as day one, suggesting that 60 days may apply if a correct tourist visa is obtained. The user also questions the availability of the 60-day visa on arrival, which may not be accurate as it typically entitles travelers to a 30-day visa exemption that can be extended.
