Hello,

If entering Thailand and crossing immigration after midnight let's say at 00:15h, does the visa start from the new day or from the previous day?

I come with e-visa.

This one day difference matters in my case.

Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The visa validity in Thailand begins from the day you enter the country, which means if you arrive at 00:15, it will be marked as the new day. However, there are nuances such as the exact timing by the immigration official that could potentially lead to being stamped with the previous day’s date depending on the time your flight arrives and the official's processes. It is advisable to verify these details with immigration directly for clarity.

Have done it , was at immigration after midnight and was stemped the day be4. Its not only the time at immigration but ur plane arrival time that matters....another issue at what time the official changes the date on the stemp so high chance it will be the date be4 midnight...

Literally the day you enter. However if its 00 15 i would double check the official has rolled his date stamp forward at midnight

you're answering your own question 🙁

00:15 is the NEXT day so no you wouldn't get stamped in the previous day
