Hey everybody! I have a question regarding Visa on Arrival. I entered Thailand on 23 Sep on a Visa on Arrival which expires on 7 Oct (my passport is granted 15 days VOA). However, since 1st Oct, the policy has changed and now the VOA for my country is 30 days. Does the new policy apply in my case? Do I get 15 extra days even if I came before the new policy and I have a stamp that says "7 Oct"? I appreciate any advice, thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The new Visa on Arrival policy, which allows for a 30-day stay for certain countries, does not apply to individuals who entered Thailand before the change was implemented on October 1st. Since this person arrived on September 23rd, they will only have the original 15 days granted, which means their stay will expire on October 7th.

October 7 is the date you need to leave Thailand.

No. It only applies to people who entered on or after the 1st.

No, you arrived before it was implemented and so you just get your normal 15 days.
