TLDR : Answer Summary
The necessity of re-registering at the Jomtien Immigration Office after a holiday abroad while holding an over 50 Visa depends on various factors. Generally, if you return to the same address where a TM30 is filed, re-filing may not be required. However, at your next 90-day check-in, a new TM47 might be needed along with proof of residence like a lease. It's advisable to consult directly with the Jomtien Immigration Office for the most accurate and current information, as requirements can vary by district.

@Andy ****
has UPDATED his Post

This is for Jomtien Immigration office.

"Asked y'day what documents are required when coming back to Pattaya after holiday abroad as a 1 year Visa Holder (over 50 yrs etc.) As my post is closed, will post Info here:

Currently @ Jomtien Immigration the TM30 plus of the following documents is required (see attached) when returning back from abroad. The list is not clear and it was also required as a condo owner, to bring the Tabien Baan/Registration Blue book or the Chanod/Condo Title Docment.

Please note, every Immigration Office (as Tod noted in my original post) might require another set or no documents. "

and I think either the O/P knows what to do, OR they're thoroughly confused.
@Andy ****
GO to the Jomtien immigration office and ask them in person (y)

Jomtien has told me I do not when returning to the same address

Ask your landlord to fill a new TM30 and handout a copy.

90 reports due when you enter Thailand. Attention, day 1 is your re-entry stamp
Andy *******
Jomtien doesn't require new TM30 but at your next 90 day, they'll want a new TM47 and to glance at your lease is my experience

Possibly not if in the same stamp ie re-entry or multiple entry permit. Probably absolutely yes if on a new entry stamp. Hoof it on down with your passport and enquire.

TM30 is probably what you’re referring to. Each district has its own rules about updating the tm30 after arriving back in the country. Others will be along shore with updates…I’m sure!

Unless I'm mistaken Jomtien doesn't require people returning to the same address they have a TM30 filed at to re-file when they come back from overseas.

I'd post on a pattaya group and ask though

For the record, Hua Hin does not require it... at least for now.

That used to be the case but it seems that it is no longer true. I was told time and time again over the last 5 years at Jomtien Immigration that if you remain at the same address - no big deal. I went to the US in May and went to Immigration just to check in late June. I was told the policy has changed but not fined. The next time, however, would be different. I think she said notify within 5 days but not 100% sure. Could be 3.

Patrick Carey same for my marriage extension at Pattaya 2 months ago, I had been out of the country in Jan and made to do the form again and warned but not fined.

I am anxious to hear from others concerning this policy in Jomtian

There are over 80 offices in the country and some DO require you to re-file a TM30 when you return from abroad but some don't 😕
