Hi all. I’m just flying back into the country from a 6 day trip. So do I need to still go register my address again at immigration within 24 hours? Live in Phuket

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you have returned to Thailand from a trip, you may need to register your address with the local immigration office within 24 hours. According to comments, the requirements can vary by location and visa type. Phuket's immigration office still requires notification upon re-entry, and using the TM30 form is recommended. Some users noted that the process has recently changed, requiring landlords to provide additional documentation. Always confirm with the local office regarding any specific requirements.

So, went in today. They said, as of this week they don’t accept the blue book, as they want the title purchase deed which shows address and landlords name on one page. AND. Landlord now needs to give power of attorney. (Which makes legal sense since it is a form the landlord has to fill out. ) BUT, that is crazy annoying now for landlords.

And depending on your visa it’s one of the few that allow you to get the 30 days extension the day you arrive back in the country , so do the TM30 and then do the extension if on a tourist visa , might as well make a morning of it .

Back into the country so an international flight . Yes , go do it . So long as the same address it is straight forward . Always found Phuket immigration friendly and efficient .

Different immigration offices have different policies, I think in Phuket you do need to go in and file the tm30 that you're back at home.
I believe you can do it at either the main office or that one down by the beach

They took my departure card, but nothing else, as per normal. (I travelled outside the country) just curious if they are enforcing the “report to
Immigration to verify address within 24 hrs” statement.

Yes, if they took your 90 days report paper at exit time.

I went to Patong immigration today and asked the same question. I was told you can do it online but I'm jiggered if I can work out how!
