TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM30 form must be filed when you return to Thailand, but requirements may vary by immigration office. It's advisable to check directly with your local immigration office to confirm if you need to submit a new TM30 after your holiday. Some expats prefer to submit the form each time they return for peace of mind.

Ask your immigration office. Each office sets their own requirement on when you need to file a new TM30 after traveling.
