TLDR : Answer Summary
If you are nearing the expiration of your visa while your wife is expecting to give birth in two weeks, you may have options for extending your stay. Depending on your current visa type, you can apply for a 60-day family visit extension, which can be a one-time option. Alternatively, if your wife is a Thai citizen, you may qualify for a 1-year extension of stay. It is crucial to clarify your current visa status to determine which extension applies.

Yes, extra stay of 60 days or 1 year extention of stay are your options if your wife is a Thai citizen.

. Correct. I've actually done the 60 day extension off a spouse extension. I planned to go back to Oz and visit family and get fresh visa instead of another yearly extension. But wife was rushed to hospital 2 days before my flight. Wanted to stay but didn't have the 400k in bank long enough. Immigration gave me an extra 60 days ( visit family) to fill the gap. I then got another yearly extension on the back of that later. You'll need a letter from doctor if your wife can't apply in person with you.

No.

What visa are you currently on? There's a 60 day visiting family extension that can be used once.

Not much you can do, you could apply, be denied and get an extra 7 days but that's about it. Or border/visa run to Cambodia.
