Hi all, so I’ve a similar question before but a bit unsure now with the new exception that was passed.
My initial 30 day visa on arrival expires April 15
(Now I know I don’t have to go to the immigration until further notice)
However I could have a baby any day now (due date 4 weeks) I have a letter from my doctor to excuse travel ...
I’m still able to go to an immigration point to apply for that? (I’ve tried calling my closest but no answer)
Thanks 🙏🏼

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the possibility of applying for a visa extension in Thailand due to being close to giving birth, and has a doctor's letter to excuse travel. The responses provide guidance on the process for applying for a medical extension based on pregnancy, the required documents, and clarify the user's initial visa status.
You will need a medical certificate signed by your doctor requesting Thai Immigration grant you either 60 or up to 90 days Medical Extension due to your pregnancy and unable to travel...you are under Medical Care.
Take that's along with the usual forms for an extension...fee 1,900 Thai baht.
You do NOT have a 30 day visa on arrival :O (because there is no such thing),
if you showed up here without having bought a visa from a thai consulate before you got here and were stamped in free for 30 days you came in on a 30 day visa exempt entry stamp :)
