TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking guidance on visa options available in Thailand after staying for nearly 9 months. They mention having a Thai baby but their fiancée is not present, complicating the situation. Comments highlight that the user may qualify for a long-term visa based on their Thai child, even without being married, and that financial criteria may apply. Additionally, a temporary family visit extension is noted as an option with no financial requirements.

Thank you everyone! I emailed my embassy and they send me a form so i can get a pdf form then will go directly to immigration here in Ubon.

You would qualify for a long term visa based on your Thai child, even if unmarried, but I think you would need 400,000 in the bank or income of 40k/month. The Thai father can also fulfill this requirement. If you married the father you could get an extension based on marriage with no financial requirements. If you are stuck in the short term there is also a special 60 day "visit Thai family" extension that has no financial requirements. This is a one off though.

ok that should make it easier i dont really see why you shouldnt be able to get a non O or something would be easier with Marriage certificate.

I suggest you get letter written in Thai from your fiance very politely. Explaining he is stuck wherever and can they please assist you as best as possible. Include his number in letter so they can contact him by line. Take that to immigration office and ask how to procede.

Copy of his ID and passport also

Ok, sir. But do you think that Non-O visa will fit to me? Im living with his thai parents.

Thats an answer only the immigratiin officer can tell you. It doesnt really matter where you are living forget about parents for now. They will probably need copy of house registration later but first get the letter copy of birth certificate and copy husbands ID and go see immigration they are not monsters and will assist

thai also. I just stayed here in thailand since i gave birth 'coz its lockdown too and im taking care of my child.

@Prncss ******
if your baby has the Thai nationality speed yourself to immigration and ask their vision. Being married with your boyfriend would be a big advantage, but ask what your options are.

immigration will ultimately decide what your options are. Facebook people can only guess or assume. IM has all the power I'm afraid....

You have to get your baby's DNA to prove paternity.

thai nationality sir.

@Prn***
But you're not Thai. Thailand views the nationality of the mother for the child.

@Garrett **********
not true , my son is dual passport half Thai half English, I'm his English father and his mum is Thai, he has two passports and is recognised as a dual nationality. You need the child's birth and passport to get the ball rolling

@Ry**
I didn't say anything about dual passports. I said the mother has to be Thai....
