TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking advice on renewing their wife's one-year visa extension based on marriage to a Thai citizen, as she is currently hospitalized. Suggestions include obtaining medical documentation for a medical extension, which can be granted for up to 90 days, or applying for a 60-day family extension. It is also recommended to directly contact the immigration office with necessary documentation.
90 DAY REPORTING RESOURCES / SERVICES
Use the trusted Thailand 90 Day Reporting Service to get your in-person report done and mailed to you for as low as 375 THB (even if the online system doesn't work for you).

This must be a lot of stress for you and your family… Wish you all the best, and speedy recovery to your wife. I hope that you will get nice immigration officer and collaborating hospital staff🙏🏼

You may be able to get documentation from the hospital, treating doctors, etc and go get a medical extension for her (which can be granted up to 90 days) OR you could also see if you could get a 60 day visit thai family extension for her.
I would certainly contact your immigration office, take her passport and your proof of relationship and see what extension you can get to buy time so she can get out of the hospital and then get the year extension.

The 90-day medical extension can be obtained without the applicant (my wife) showing up at the Bangkok immigration office right?
