Hi all. I have my 90 day stamp and my stamp expires 11 April when I should be given my 1 year extension. Immigration team have visited me at my home and they say all is ok.

My question can I go before 11 April to collect the visa or only in that day? My wife say only on the day of expiry of the 90 day.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has a 90-day visa stamp expiring on April 11 and is questioning whether they can collect their 1-year visa extension before that date. The comments indicate that collection should occur on the specified date, or if an 'under consideration' stamp is present, possibly on that date only. Additionally, there may be public holidays overlapping with the collection date, impacting office availability.

Maybe my language school just didn’t want to do the 11th. Works out for me as I didn’t want to do that on my birthday 😂

I think they’re closed on the 11th for holiday. You might want to check

I am applying for my education visa and our initial day was also the 11th. They contacted me today to tell me that we have to go tomorrow because the offices are closed on the 11th, but I’m a newbie, so hopefully wrong for your sake. Either way I have to meet them tomorrow.

I think that may be an error. Public holidays are 12th 15th and 16th April. I have the same public holidays for my job

Go when they told you to go

Similar question. I'm going on the 11th to start my marriage visa. I will receive a 1 month consideration stamp on that day? Then its just waiting etc?

Generally if all your documents are in order you should get a 3 month entry visa. I can’t say for sure but if you are using an agent then they know the system better.

In my situation I had to return 3 times before they accepted the documents. I didn’t use an agent in the process. My immigration office are stringent.

ya. That's one of the reasons I wanted to use an agent the first time. Because it seems confusing. OK. Well fingers crossed 555

when you say start your marriage visa have you already provided all the documentation required?

The process I went through is make an appointment provide all the required documents this gets you 90 days. Then come back before the 90 days and provide all the documents again and then you get the under consideration stamp. Finally at the end of the under consideration you get the 1 year extension.

the reason I'm asking. Is my ED visa cancellation letter is the 11th, as per Myt agent, and of I don't get some sort of stamp. I have to leave. She said it shouldn't be an issue.

My first appointment is the 11th to provide everything. I'm using an agent because its my first time doing the marriage one.

Unless you spoke to the immigration officers about getting it early when you applied or when they visited, you cannot go early, or late. You need to go exactly on the date they specified.

Did you get an under consideration stamp in your passport before they came to visit? That stamp has the day you go to get your yearly extension, not before, if this is a marriage extension you are talking about

sorry I wrote my 90 day expires 11 April that expired 31 March. My under consideration expires 11 April. So I can’t go until that date for extension. Ok thanks.

then go on April 11, not before, as that is the day they have your document bundle together for their reference, and expect you to be there.
