Striped red and white curbs, no (matter how many bikes are parked in the same area) will result in your bike being chained up and fined for a cool $500 baht.

Bike taxis will wait for it to happen and offer you a ride to the police station, and they will double up on passengers. So be prepared to be hugged or hug a stranger in the 90 degree heat 😅

Also cops don’t barter at the police station, I had to try 😂

I am applying for my education visa and our initial day was also the 11th. They contacted me today to tell me that we have to go tomorrow because the offices are closed on the 11th, but I’m a newbie, so hopefully wrong for your sake. Either way I have to meet them tomorrow.
